Hi, I'm Kelly. I've always been the one who notices things.

Smiling young woman with long brown hair wearing a black t-shirt and gold necklace against a neutral background.

Weddings have been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and after working in the industry, I fell even harder for what they actually are: a room full of people letting go of the real world for one day. People who haven't seen each other in years, strangers becoming friends, everyone just being silly and present together. That's what I'm there to capture.

When I was growing up, every time my family moved we'd pull out boxes of printed photos. That's how I got close to people who were no longer here, or who I could only hear stories about. Photos did that. They closed the distance. That's what I want for you, not just beautiful images but something you can actually crawl back into.

Before putting down roots in Gainesville I spent years living in different places including North Carolina, Utah, Australia, which taught me that the best thing about any place is the people in it. That probably explains why I photograph weddings the way I do.

Outside of weddings I'm usually outside, cooking something, playing piano, learning German for absolutely no practical reason, playing with my three cats (Maz, Moab & Cal), exploring somewhere new with my wonderful boyfriend or with my family who lives directly across the street. I love meeting new people and seeing new places which makes photographing weddings feel less like work and more like exactly where I'm supposed to be.

If something here resonated, I'd love to hear about your wedding day.
